Course Description
An introductory level course covering topics involving basic theories, principles, and application of operations and supply chain management. First module of the class discusses the strategic aspects of operations and supply chain planning. Second module moves on to quality management of products and services. Third module introduces to students demand and inventory planning, as well as transportation and logistics network design. All materials present to students both technical and relational tools that are available for the most efficient and effective operations and supply chain management practices.
